My desk lamp is not red but when I point it at my face, my face in my webcam got all red like this and I don’t know why

My laptop’s default webcam app got an automatic update a few weeks ago, but only now did I realize how much creepiness potential there is in the effects

I got a haircut today for the first time since April because my hair was so long that I couldn’t keep it from constantly falling in my face
Now there’s just so much less mass on top of my head and I feel like I can do anything
